Information collected
We collect the contact, ownership, property, timing, and preference information you choose to provide in the owner inquiry form. For residents, we collect contact details, housing preferences, and the access option selected. This initial site form does not request identity documents, tax returns, credit reports, Social Security numbers. When an approved applicant pays, Stripe collects payment credentials directly. We retain only limited transaction identifiers, payment status, plan, amount, and service-term dates needed for accounting and access administration.
How it is used
Inquiry information is used only to assess fit, contact you about the property or housing request, plan the initial owner and resident cohorts, and maintain an auditable inquiry record. It is not sold or used for unrelated advertising.
Vetted member verification
If a resident later elects vetted member verification, a separate written authorisation and notice will describe the specific identity, credit, rental-history, income, reference, recommendation, review, or consumer-report information requested; the provider used; how results may be shared; applicable dispute rights; and retention. A legal background check involving criminal history will occur only after a conditional housing offer and must follow applicable New York City process.
Storage and access
Inquiries are stored in Twelvemonth’s site database. Export access is restricted. A copy of each owner inquiry and resident request is sent to info@twelvemonthnyc.comthrough our transactional email provider so it can be reviewed and answered. Information is otherwise shared only with service providers needed to operate the site or when required by law.
Safeguards and profile sharing
Twelvemonth uses transport encryption, access controls, restricted exports, and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information held. Sensitive verification documents are not collected through the public forms. An identifiable resident profile is released to a specific verified owner only with the resident’s affirmative permission. If a breach requires notice, affected individuals and authorities will be notified as required by applicable law.
Retention and choices
Owner inquiries and resident requests are retained while the early-access programme is being evaluated and for a reasonable period afterward. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing info@twelvemonthnyc.com.
Cookies and analytics
This version of the site does not use advertising cookies or nonessential behavioural tracking. If that changes, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before those tools are enabled.
